Winning the award for best marketing campaign of the week- Backpack gurus Jansport are offering FREE beer, food, transportation, and live music (fireside) via Seattle boogie-down rockers, The Moondoggies, this Saturday August 27th, 2011.

Pictured Above: We caught Kevin Murphy, lead singer of The Moondoggies, when he performed an acoustic set at the Penthouse of the Sorrento Hotel a few months back with Bobby Bare Jr. FYM would describe The Moondoggies sound as a well-balanced, classic take on the roots of rock n' roll (with a Northwest edge). For further sonic exploration check out It's a Shame, It's a Pity below:

In order to partake in the FREE tunes, food, drink, and a ride to and from The Moondoggies secret concert, you will have to sign-up on Jansport's email list HERE (the ad also says to follow their FB and Twitter). This Saturday, Jansport will be releasing clues as to the location of where the shuttle to the concert will be waiting- all you have to do is be one of the first 125 fans to find this place, hop in, and go along for the ride. Stoked on the possibility. Cheers, FYM.
