INCEPTION

In a summer seriously lacking in hotly anticipated, big-budget movies (even the recently released trailer for this winter's Michel Gondry/Seth Rogen/Christoph Waltz action-comedy The Green Lantern seems tame) comes a possible game-changer in Christopher Nolan's Inception.

You know a movie looks great when it has several trailers in which plot details are extremely scarce, yet you want to see it even more with every new trailer released. Nolan, on a creative roll like none other in recent memory, teams up some of his usual players (Michael Caine, Ken Wantanabe, Cillian Murphy) with another batch of very acclaimed actors (Leonardo DiCaprio, Ellen Page, Marion Cotillard, Joseph Gordon-Levitt), and pairs them all with some of the most mind-warping visual effects since The Matrix.

The newest trailer finally focuses on revealing a little bit more about the characters while still withholding much of the plot, and of course makes the movie seem even more intriguing than it already is. Here's the new trailer for Inception, easily the most anticipated film of the summer:
