FYM TO DO: SAN FRANCISCO

Our boys over at yourstru.ly are throwing an event with Blood Drank Magazine this Thursday at 111 Minna Gallery and it's completely free. Pure Ecstasy is headlining the show and if you were to guess what they sounded like, just by their name then you would probably be right. These Austin, TX lads could easily be a soundtrack to the next Sofia Coppola film. Sleep Over, Young Prisms and a DJ-set from oOoOO will open the evening.

Next on our list is Friday at The Republic from 6-8pm Fire Stone Walker Brewery will be having a beer tasting. Sure that's bossy, but to make it even better, it is completely FREE. There will be at least 5 beers to sample: Solace Wheat, Pale 31 Pale Ale, Double Barrel Ale, Union Jack IPA and Walker's Reserve Dark Ale. Always wondered how the beer is made? The tasty evening will feature the exceptional knowledge of of the Firestone Walker staff, answering all of your beer tasting questions.

The sweetest treat of the week is on Saturday with A-Trak, Peanut Butter Wolf, and Mayer Hawthorne at Kelly's Mission Rock for Blow Up. A-Trak has been on FYM's boss hog on candy (really fucking awesome) list for quite some time. You have probably seen him, and didn't even know it, as he is a DJ for Kanye West. Last summer, FYM caught A-Trak live at The Independent and here's some video to prove.

Peanut Butter Wolf is no slouch either. FYM managed to catch him at one of the best museums in the world, the Getty Museum in Los Angeles. Peanut Butter Wolf will be getting San Francisco into a dance fest on Saturday.

Mayer Hawthorne and Jeffery Paradise are opening up the evening, and that will be your last chance to catch them before they come to Outside Lands at Golden Gate Park in less than 2 weeks from now! Tickets are on sale now but if you don't have the cash, SF Station is giving away tickets so give it your best shot, and we'll see you there.
